In 2023, I served as Project and Program Manager, Event Producer, and MC for The Gehl Gathering, a three-day company-wide event in Copenhagen that brought together 145 staff members from across the global organization. Following 40% growth in the years after the pandemic, Gehl needed to reconnect its networked team, align brand messaging and culture, and inspire the organization toward a shared future.

I designed and executed a program that balanced large-scale conference programming with intimate social experiences. The conference featured Gehl CEO Helle Søholt's State of the Union address, equity and climate-focused workshops, breakout sessions on healthy neighborhoods and AI in cities, and guest speakers including IDEO's former Chief Creative Officer Paul Bennett and DEI expert Poornima Luthra. Alongside the conference programming, I curated social experiences that fostered connection—14 expert-led city tours ending at Copenhagen's Reffen Street Food market, participation in the Copenhagen Pride parade, 18 staff-hosted home dinners, and a closing night of dinner and dancing.

The Gathering became the largest internal event in Gehl's history. Post-event surveys showed that 97% of participants felt more connected, 90% felt more inspired, and 63% felt more aligned with the organization's direction. As one attendee reflected: "It was an intense few days but I felt so connected and grateful to be part of the Gehl ecosystem... it was really valuable to hear and see how much knowledge and experience there was in the room."
